A 5 mg vial of Selank is usually mixed with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water. That gives you a concentration of about 2.50 mg/ml. At a 500 mcg dose, one 5 mg vial covers around 10 doses, taken 1-2x daily, intranasal or subcutaneous. Selank is also commonly sold in 10mg vials, but this page focuses on the 5mg size. The calculator above is set to the 5 mg vial. Enter your target dose (anywhere from 250 to 750 mcg is typical) and it shows the exact number of units to draw on an insulin syringe. After mixing, keep the vial at 2-8°C refrigerated and finish it within 21 days. Unopened, a 5 mg vial stays good for up to 24 months. When you add the water, run it down the inside wall of the vial. Swirl, do not shake.
