Peptide calculator FAQ
How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a peptide vial?
It depends on the vial size and the concentration you want. A common choice is adding 2ml of bacteriostatic water to a 5mg vial, which gives 2,500 mcg/ml. Enter your vial size and target dose in the calculator and it shows the exact water volume and units to draw.
How do I calculate peptide dosage and units to draw?
Divide the total peptide (mg × 1000 = mcg) by the water volume to get the concentration in mcg/ml, then divide your target dose by that concentration to get the volume in ml, and multiply by 100 for units on a U-100 insulin syringe. The calculator does all of this automatically.
How many units is my dose on an insulin syringe?
On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 unit equals 0.01ml regardless of whether the barrel is 0.3ml, 0.5ml, or 1ml. So units to draw = volume in ml × 100. Enter your reconstitution details above to see the exact number.
Is the peptide dosage calculator free?
Yes. Every calculator on DosingCalc is completely free, works in your browser with no sign-up, and covers semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide, BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin, and more.
Which peptides does the calculator support?
The calculator includes presets for 24 peptides, including semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide, cagrilintide, BPC-157, TB-500, the BPC-157/TB-500 blend, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin, sermorelin, and PT-141. You can also enter custom values for any compound.
