AOD-9604 dose calculator

Modified HGH fragment (amino acids 177-191). Targets fat metabolism without the growth-promoting effects of full HGH; lipolytic activity in adipocytes was shown by Heffernan in rodent models (Endocrinology 2001, PMID 11713213). The Metabolic Pharmaceuticals Phase 2b obesity trial reported in 2007 did not show significant weight loss vs placebo at 1 mg/day, and AOD-9604 has never gained drug approval; clinical efficacy in humans remains unproven.

Frequently asked questions

How much bacteriostatic water should I add to AOD-9604?

For a 5mg vial of AOD-9604, add 2ml of bacteriostatic water. This concentration works well with a standard insulin syringe.

What is the typical AOD-9604 dosage?

Typical research dosages for AOD-9604 range from 250 to 500 mcg, administered 1x daily, morning on empty stomach.

How long does reconstituted AOD-9604 last?

Reconstituted AOD-9604 should be stored at 2-8°C refrigerated and used within 21 days. Unreconstituted vials can be stored for up to 24 months.

How do I calculate my AOD-9604 dose?

Divide your target dose by the concentration to get the volume, then multiply by 100 for units on a U-100 insulin syringe. For example, a 5mg vial in 2ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2500 mcg/ml. The calculator above does this automatically once you enter your vial size, water volume, and desired dose.

How many units of AOD-9604 should I draw on an insulin syringe?

On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 unit equals 0.01 ml regardless of the barrel size (0.3ml, 0.5ml, or 1ml). Enter your reconstitution details in the calculator to see the exact number of units to draw for your dose.
